I've choosen this picture because throughout the book Lennie has been the moronic one . So I wouldnt say this is offensive to the Character but this is how I see him.

I've choosen this picture because in the book the details of the ranch were described as old & looks as if it is abondaned so I chose this picture because this fits the description of how the front of the ranch might look.

Journal Post 3

Oh no i got in trouble . I got into a big fight with that mean man Curley. I hurt him but he got his hand caught in the machine. i know that George is mad at me but he told me to do it. he told me to get him Lennie and thats what i did. My face hurts because he kept socking me in the face but i broke his hand his fighting hand. I wanna run away cause i think i would get me and George kicked out the ranch but i dont wanna mess up anything but the boss just knows and everybody else knows he got his hand caught in the machine. But the good part of today is that i cgot told i can get a pup that i can take care of and show George i can tend the rabbits and make sure i dont kill it. I like my brown and white pup. i hope he doesnt die.

Dear who im talkin to, Me and George are good friends. he takes care of me and i think he even love me. i thought that we argue because he dont like me but he told me that he only does that because he dont want me in no trouble. We had finaly made it to the bunk house and we met the boss man his son and others. i dont think the boss likes George cause he speaks up fo me. He told me not to say a word and i didnt. the boss thinks he gonna take my money from me evrytime we get payd but George doesnt i want him to so we can get our own land where i can tend the rabbits and work and play and be happy with George. Thats all i want is some rabbits and George happy. But i have to start my first day of work so i will write later and try to stay out of trouble cause i dont like it when George is mad.

Summary

The book Of Mice and Men is very interesting. I didn't understand it at first until I read more into the book with my class mates.It was about two men who had been together for a minute. Their names was Lennie and George. Lennie was like the slow one and needed to be watched every hour on the hour. George on the other hand was like the big brother. He took care of Lennie, he watched after him, and most of all kept him out of trouble. I understand that sometimes Lennie didnt know right from wrong but George didnt have to yell and scream at him like he did. Lennie was the cause of them having to run away from the town they were staying in name Weed. Lennie had touched a female dress sinced he like touching soft thing. Stuff got rough and she ends of accusing him of rape! They had to go and find jobs in a town name Salinas and work on a ranch. As they got there throughout troubles they meet mean people and people who didn't like Lennie because he was big, dumb, and didnt cause any harm. But long story short Lennie had killed a co-workers wife from by her neck and he ends up running away before the men get to him. But, George finds him and ends up killing him. I really liked this book it was very good. I hope to read more into it.

Journal Post 1: George took my mice again. I'm mad that he took it. I have nothing soft anymore to pet when i get bored. I wanted my mice to live but instead it died. George thinks i did it on purpose. I didnt mean to i wouldnt want to kill the mice on purpose. I really want it so bad but George wont let me. I hope that we can get rabbits or something soft to pet when we get to the ranch. I want lots and lots of rabbits! But as long as i dont kill them George will let me ten the rabbits. Im about to watch George sleep cause i cant sleep unless im pettin somethin so goodnite. I hope that nothin bad happens tonite because if i lose George i wont have nothin to do or go. i glad hes around because he is my best buddy.
